This list is compiled and maintained regularly by the US State Department. It is sad to see Haiti still on the top of the list as this just reinforces the metaphorical comparison between hell and Haiti. The natural earthquake disaster set the country back and the people continue to need assistance. This is a place worth Nation Building.
I am certain that Israel would like to get off this list. It will take a concerted world wide effort to make it so.
It is shameful that America’s next door neighbor is high on this list. There can be no excuses for the USA permitting this.
